Death and Rebirth
Life and death. Death then rebirth. There was no such thing as rebirth for Kieran. The same could be said for about 99.9% of the population, and yet, by whatever force willed it, he could come back from the dead. So sure, rebirth could be applied here, but he never came back to start new beginnings. It was a funny word. Rebirth. No, cross that, it wasn't a funny word. It was a word that had at one point been intended to represent good things, but the more it became known, the more it spread and bastardized into conformity's appeal. Rebirth, just like immortal, was an abused term.

After every one of his so-call revivals, Kieran would always wake up right at the moment when things just sort of rewound itself back into place as if his body were going back to fix everything that had been damaged.

Immortal, regeneration, he doesn't know what to call it and he doesn't understand how the process works, but he doesn't ask too many questions about it. Regardless on how many important details had been erased in his head on that matter, Kieran does remember that the process of his healing varied depending on what fatal injury was sustained at the time of death. The last time he'd indulged in acts to satisfy his cravings, it'd taken him around twenty minutes to go from the process of dying, to physical death, then to whatever term need applied here, to full recovery.

Today it was only five minutes.
